Sony Pushes Mandatory PS3 Update to against PS3 break

There is not a good news for PS3 Player, but we already knew this would happen -- that Sony Pushes (Another) Mandatory PS3 Update to against the PS3 break . it is a so quick response to PS3 break.

Now, Sony gave a qucik response to PS3 break. since last month an Australian judge granted Sony complete control over an inventory of PS3 jailbreak devices, but winning its court case apparently wasn't enough for the console giant.

On Monday, September 6, Sony's Director of Hardware Marketing, John Koller, announced: "A minor update to your PS3 system is now available via system software update v3.42 that includes additional security features." In this case, "additional security features" translates directly into "plugging the latest firmware hole end-users are exploring."

Maybe it's time to throw in the towel and admit we don't really get Sony. Oh, it's easy to understand why the company is afraid of jailbroken PS3s—the company has an enormous interest in protecting the PS3's revenue stream—but the ways in which the company attempts to safeguard the PS3 sometimes boggles the mind. This might not seem so much an issue, but the PS3 already starts off with two strikes against it. Unlike the Wii or XBox 360, the PS3 has actually lost features (two USB 2.0 ports, Other OS support, the integrated flash card reader, and SACD support). We won't even mention Sixaxis, or the company's complete flip-flop on the importance of rumble as a feature.

Now it's a difficult time for PS3 players to choose whether to buy a PS3 break, Now that sony released the new update, it means that new update system will build on all of the next new PS3, and if you want to login the interent game mode, you need to update to the lastest version, if you insist on V3.41 and don't update, you have to give up PSN.

However,if you dont use the PS3 break ,you can't enjoy the game experience, another, it is obviously that the price of old version PS3 will rise fast in these days!

I have a third idea, if we are lucky enough, the new PS3 break for the new update can come out quickly,there will be a new situtation, but everyone knows it's unlikely happen in a few days, let't wait for it.

Firsly , let's take a look at its basics!

What's Inside the Box?
I was a little impressed by its outward appearance at first sight, it's a beautiful small delicate box,and it is half transparent. It looks like a small present.

Open the box, it is the PS3 break, and also connect to a soft blue string. The top and bottom of the box was mounted with a magnet, so it is stable when you close it.

Take out the PS3 break and check more details. There is a small button called "upgrade", plug the PS3 break into the computer and press the "upgrade" button, you can login the Upgrade Mode.

When i connect it to my computer, it showed found new hardware wizard--“AT90USB162 DFU”，it is commonly used in all the computers. It is a little pity that so far the official didn't provide relevant drive, it is said that it will be released in a few weeks.

After i was familiar with the items, it's time to test the game experience. I downloaded Demon's Souls, copied it to HDD and get ready to operate PS3.

I am gald to find that PS3 break was working smoothly throughout the test, even there wasn't any error condition when i switched power-on and off many times.

Another surprize is that when i pulled out the PS3 break after loged in game ,it still worked, nothing changed. It is saable as usual, even faster and more efficient than CD-ROM .This is the highlight of the product , i think !
