A5:Refering to this message, it means the dongle doesn’t work normally. You need to check the following operations:

1. All external USB devices should be removed(including the USB cable to the controller) from the PS3 machine before the PS3 is started up.

2. Ensure the disc drive of the PS3 is empty

3. Ensure the PS3 system firmware is V3.41

4. On the precondition as the above mentioned. Do as following:

• (1) It’s important to make sure the power was cut off.

• (2) Insert the PS3break dongle to the PS3 device.


• (3) connect the power jack with PS3 device to enter its ready mode.


• (4) Power on the console and press the Eject button very quick. The green light of the dongle will be flashing shortly after a sound beep from the console


• (5) Once the sytem menu is appeared on the screen, the green light will switch on, which indicating the dongle works well. If not, you need to repeat this process.

Q6:why the “manager.pkg ” file wasn’t appeared when I executed Install Package Files in the menu ?

A6:Refering to this problem, please sovle it as the following steps:

1. Ensure the dongle green light is switched on. If not, please refer to Q5.

2. To ensure a copy of Backup Manager(manager.pkg) file in FAT32 format is copied on it. And it’s stored in the root volumn of the external USB storage. Otherwise, It will be failure.

3. With the above 2 conditions are fulfilled, intert the external USB storage, choose “Install Package Files”, the “manager pkg”will come up，then choose and execute it.

Q7:when I came back to the Games menu, to choose “Backup Manager”, the joystick of the controller refused to work, and cannot choose the files in the menu ?

A7:After you choosing “Backup Manager”，you may choose thegames, delete some files or backup files,etc by using the cross-shaped control keys on the left of the joystick

Q8:After I finished the backup of the file, I chose the game in “Backup Manager”menu, and execute “load”, an error message appeared,“please insert the original BD game disc”. Why ?

A8:To load up the game, a leading disc is needed for loading the PS3 games by inserting any original BD game disc into the drive of the PS3

Q9:When I loaded the created backup game, it was back to Games menu, the game what I wanted hasn’t been loaded. What’s the reason ?

A9:It’s normal, When you came back to Games menu, you may find the just created backup games was above the icon of “Backup Manager”. Choose and execute it.

Sony Pushes Mandatory PS3 Update to against PS3 break

There is not a good news for PS3 Player, but we already knew this would happen -- that Sony Pushes (Another) Mandatory PS3 Update to against the PS3 break . it is a so quick response to PS3 break.

Now, Sony gave a qucik response to PS3 break. since last month an Australian judge granted Sony complete control over an inventory of PS3 jailbreak devices, but winning its court case apparently wasn't enough for the console giant.

On Monday, September 6, Sony's Director of Hardware Marketing, John Koller, announced: "A minor update to your PS3 system is now available via system software update v3.42 that includes additional security features." In this case, "additional security features" translates directly into "plugging the latest firmware hole end-users are exploring."

Maybe it's time to throw in the towel and admit we don't really get Sony. Oh, it's easy to understand why the company is afraid of jailbroken PS3s—the company has an enormous interest in protecting the PS3's revenue stream—but the ways in which the company attempts to safeguard the PS3 sometimes boggles the mind. This might not seem so much an issue, but the PS3 already starts off with two strikes against it. Unlike the Wii or XBox 360, the PS3 has actually lost features (two USB 2.0 ports, Other OS support, the integrated flash card reader, and SACD support). We won't even mention Sixaxis, or the company's complete flip-flop on the importance of rumble as a feature.

Now it's a difficult time for PS3 players to choose whether to buy a PS3 break, Now that sony released the new update, it means that new update system will build on all of the next new PS3, and if you want to login the interent game mode, you need to update to the lastest version, if you insist on V3.41 and don't update, you have to give up PSN.

However,if you dont use the PS3 break ,you can't enjoy the game experience, another, it is obviously that the price of old version PS3 will rise fast in these days!

R4i Gold V2.0 error on DSi V1.4

After waiting so long long …. time , the R4i Gold V2.0 is published on Sep 8 ,2010. when I get it ,I can hardly wait to test .

Here , I must tell you the package is a little different from the office website (r4ids.com)

Frist :The “V2.0” symbol is not printed on the package . the factory release the “V2.0”stick with the r4i gold v2.0.-- that means you must add the stick to cover the “gold”

Second : There is not “R4i DS V2.0 “ words on the back of r4i gold v2.0.

Now , I star to palying the r4i gold v2.0 , so excited ~~

But when I put the R4i Gold V2.0 DSi card into Nintendo dsi , my eyes nearly jumped from my sockets in surprise. What’s wrong ?

On the bottom screen , the interface is punch-drunk . you can’t find any completed picture, just line network and red square frame (instead of the option picture).

we have to choose the option square frame according to our memory . and then enter to the game page .But , everything goes well when playing game.

It is so strange !!! there is even more strange things to happen.

The interface is well when tested by the nitendo ds lite . just the interface content is different, it is April not Feb

Thinking again ,We check the Nintendo dsi again , and fund that the system default date is Feb , we change from Feb to April .try the r4i gold v2.0 again .finally , the interface is normal .

Here , the R4i Gold V2.0 didn’t support the Feb skin (I didn’t test other Skin except Feb & Apirl.. ) .the skin’s compatibility is not good . Maybe ,their R&D Team will improve it . but now , if you don’t like the skins, we suggest you best to design it by yourself .heheh …

PS3 break |PS3breaker Review

Please note: This is not a professional review , it is just my using experience.

Firsly , let's take a look at its basics!

What's Inside the Box?
I was a little impressed by its outward appearance at first sight, it's a beautiful small delicate box,and it is half transparent. It looks like a small present.

Open the box, it is the PS3 break, and also connect to a soft blue string. The top and bottom of the box was mounted with a magnet, so it is stable when you close it.

Take out the PS3 break and check more details. There is a small button called "upgrade", plug the PS3 break into the computer and press the "upgrade" button, you can login the Upgrade Mode.

When i connect it to my computer, it showed found new hardware wizard--“AT90USB162 DFU”，it is commonly used in all the computers. It is a little pity that so far the official didn't provide relevant drive, it is said that it will be released in a few weeks.

After i was familiar with the items, it's time to test the game experience. I downloaded Demon's Souls, copied it to HDD and get ready to operate PS3.
Connect PS3 break to computer you can see the lamp always displaying, it means the PS3 works properly !

I am gald to find that PS3 break was working smoothly throughout the test, even there wasn't any error condition when i switched power-on and off many times.

Another surprize is that when i pulled out the PS3 break after loged in game ,it still worked, nothing changed. It is saable as usual, even faster and more efficient than CD-ROM .This is the highlight of the product , i think !
